The Auditorium of the Cueva de los Verdes will host the show 'Faro', by the dancer Eduardo Guerrero, on December 27th and 28th, within the Lanzarote Performing Arts Festival.
As explained by the Tourist Centers, 'Faro' pays tribute to the poetry dedicated to those "solitary towers" that are associated "with sad farewells and joyful reunions, and that have been celebrated throughout history for serving as a guide and orientation in the cold and dark nights of the sea".
Accompanied on guitar by Javier Ibáñez and in singing by Anabel Rivera and Manuel Soto, Faro "is a pure, natural work without an argumentative script in which the public tastes different flamenco styles and versions of mythical songs that are interspersed with the elegant dance of Eduardo Guerrero". "With a simple and white scenography, it gives prominence to the color of the costumes and to magnificent and precise choreographies", it is detailed.

'Faro' is the fourth event of the Lanzarote Performing Arts Festival and will be performed on December 27th and 28th, at 8:00 p.m., in the Cueva de los Verdes Auditorium. Tickets to enjoy 'Faro' are on sale at www.festivalartesescenicaslanzarote.com, at the ticket offices of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, and at the Casa Amarilla, in Arrecife.
'Faro' was created especially for a tour that in the summer of 2017 toured some of the most important lighthouses in Spain, starting in the Asturian Faro de Peñas and ending in Cádiz, whose lighthouse remains in the first childhood memories of Eduardo Guerrero.
