The City Council of Teguise has informed the population of the suspension of the International Youth Day events, planned in La Graciosa and Caleta de Famara, in the morning due to the alert for high temperatures.
In this sense, the Councilor for Festivities, Javier Díaz, points out that "we have made the decision to postpone the daytime activities to Saturday, August 19, that is, the workshops, gymkhana and the color and foam parties planned in Caleta de Famara and on the eighth island". Thus, the activities are postponed to Saturday of next week.
Likewise, the Consistory informs that the musical event Les Miserables, which will take place on Saturday, August 12 at 8:00 p.m. in the Convent of Santo Domingo de La Villa, as well as the screening of the film Nine Queens on the Caleta de Famara breakwater at 9:00 p.m., remains on the agenda.
With respect to the rest of the activities scheduled in the different festivities that are celebrated in the municipality, the Councilor for Festivities recommends being attentive to any cancellation, postponement or modification through www.teguise.es.
