The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, accompanied by the Minister of the Presidency, Andrés Stinga, visited the facilities of the Cabildo's Mobile Park this Monday morning, where the reconstruction work of the mobile sculpture or wind toy by César Manrique called "Fobos", which was removed from Tahíche in 2016, is being completed.
Corujo and Stinga were able to see first-hand the "extensive" work carried out on Manrique's work, which has not only been restored, but some of its elements and materials have been updated to better fit the original vision of the artist from Lanzarote and provide greater durability and reliability to the mobile sculpture, according to the institution. It is expected that 'Fobos' will be reinstalled in Tahíche between the months of January and February 2020.

María Dolores Corujo congratulated the workers of the Mobile Park for having "put their heart" into the restoration of the work and for their "immense love for detail and respect for César's work".
