After the break caused by Covid-19, the Casa-Museo del Timple in Teguise launched the concert program coinciding with the festival of the town's patron saint, Nuestra Señora del Carmen.

The Councilor for Culture of the Teguise City Council, Nori Machín, and the commissioner of the Casa-Museo, Benito Cabrera, present at the event, were very happy with the launch of a cultural activity highly requested by the public, who since the inauguration of the Casa-Museo have supported the project with their presence.

The Lanzarote singer Beni Ferrer was in charge of starting this new journey, accompanied in the musical part by Ivanhoe Rodríguez, Salvador Pérez and Maxi Ferrer and in the choirs with the voices of Eva Díaz and Mariola Ferrer. With the professionalism that characterizes her, Beni Ferrer lived up to the circumstances. She connected with the public from the first moment with a very current musical repertoire made up of some songs composed by well-known Lanzarote composers such as Roberto Fuentes, José María de Páiz, Maxi Ferrer and Maximino Ferrer father, among others.

Likewise, she performed some of the songs chosen are included in her album "Viento" to which she also added "Estrellita viajera", "Las luces del olvido, "El último trago" and "El velero", among others, which she interspersed with some of traditional Canarian style such as seguidillas, marine folías dedicated to the Virgen del Carmen and the "Arrorró".

When the moment of farewell arrived, the public, eager to be able to enjoy the new season of concerts at the Casa-Museo again, asked Beni Ferrer to give them a new song, a request that was accepted and that ended with prolonged applause. At the end of the concert, the Councilor for Culture, Nori Machín, and the commissioner of the Casa-Museo, Benito Cabrera, congratulated Beni Ferrer and the entire team that accompanied her in this first concert of the new season.
