The Governing Council of the Lanzarote Tax Network has unanimously approved the Budget for the year 2023. In addition to this point, during said Council, the modification of the General Fiscal Ordinance of Management, Inspection and Collection of the Cabildo, of the statutes of the Autonomous Organization of Tax Management (OAIGT) and of the RPT was also unanimously approved, as reported by the Cabildo.
The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, has welcomed the consensus reached in the Council to approve these Budgets for the year 2023 by a majority and for having achieved this important objective for the coming year, explain from the Cabildo.
For her part, the insular councilor of Finance and president of the Governing Council of the Lanzarote Tax Network, Rosa Callero, has detailed that, with the modification of the Ordinance, it has been modernized and adapted to the new technological conditions that affect the Administration and it has been decided to simplify its content in some aspects.
Regarding the modification of the RPT, Callero has explained that two of the most relevant positions of the RPT of the Tax Network (those related to new technologies) deserved a greater detail in the description of their functions. And she added that especially now that the job calls are getting closer, so its modification was approved in that sense.
