27.2% of homes sold in the third quarter of the year in the Canary Islands were acquired by foreigners, according to the latest report from the Association of Registrars.

The percentage is almost one and a half points lower than last year when it reached 28.6% and nearly 3 and a half points lower than that reached in 2022 when it marked 30.60%.

However, the proportion remains one of the highest in the country. The Canary Islands is the third autonomous community with the highest percentage of acquisitions by foreigners. Behind Balearic Islands (32.50%) and Valencian Community (28.45%).
