Prices to buy a home in the capital of Lanzarote are at all-time highs

Those looking to acquire a home in Arrecife have found prices in November at all-time highs, according to the latest data from the idealista.com real estate portal price index. 

The price per square meter reached 1,906 euros last month, 20.7% more than it cost during the same month last year when the average was 1,580 euros. 

No other capital in the Canary Islands has experienced such a large growth. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the price per square meter increased by 12.1% to 2,444 euros.

In Puerto del Rosario, prices increased by 16.7% in November compared to last year to 1,668 euros. 

In the capitals of the western islands, prices have behaved very differently in the last year. 

Thus, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the price per square meter rose much more moderately in the last year, the growth was 6% to 2,141 euros. 

In Santa Cruz de La Palma, on the other hand, prices fell by 5.4% compared to last year, so that the price per square meter costs 1,473 euros on the beautiful island. 

For Valverde, in El Hierro, and for San Cristobal de la Gomera, idealista.com did not have enough properties to provide reliable data.
