From November 4 to 10, the Regulatory Council of the D.O.P. Vinos de Lanzarote presents the tenth edition of 'Malvasía Week', a week of tribute to Lanzarote wine with activities designed for wine lovers. In this special edition, the event will offer experiences that combine the island's wine with art, gastronomy, photography and local culture

The celebration will begin on Monday, November 4 with the eno-artistic workshop by the artist Rufina Santana at the Lanzarote Art Center, in San Bartolomé. In this meeting, the wine will become pigment and each brushstroke will carry the essence of Lanzarote. Guided by the artist, the participants will explore the wine through the senses, from its color and aroma to its texture, to create works of art.

On Tuesday, November 5, the Kentia restaurant in Puerto del Carmen will host 'VINOmios (Im)perfectos', a pairing experience in which attendees will taste two wines served blindly with each dish, choosing which one achieves the perfect pairing. The chef's proposal, in combination with the island's wines, invites diners to discover new nuances in each bite.

On Wednesday, November 6, for pastry lovers, the cake and wine workshop with Adelia Ramírez arrives at the Aljibe del Vallito, in Tías. A meeting that invites you to explore the pairing between pastry and Lanzarote wines. During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to make their own cake while learning the nuances and pairings of wine with sweet ingredients.

On Thursday, November 7, the Jable de Tao winery will offer a unique enophotographic experience. From the hand of the photographer Rubén Acosta and the artist Elisa Miralles, attendees will "discover how wine and photography can merge into a sensory and visual story. This exclusive pairing between local wines and photography books allows you to explore wine as an artistic and expressive project, just like the creation of an image."

Friday, November 8, under the Lanzarote sky and surrounded by vineyards, the narrator Isabel Cabrera will guide attendees on a magical tour through the classic 'Once upon a Vine...' at the Finca Testeina of the Vega de Yuco winery. A fascinating meeting of conejeras legends and island wines chosen to pair in perfect harmony with the mystery and tradition of the stories.

'Malvasía Week' will culminate on November 10 with a wine route through the wine-growing heart of La Geria. Wine lovers will be able to immerse themselves in a tour of three emblematic wineries; La Geria, Stratvs and El Grifo. This tour among vineyards promises to be a sensory journey where the wine and the stories of each winery are intertwined, culminating with an enyesque that will seal the experience in the unique environment of El Grifo.

And for the most demanding palates, the gastronomic experience ConVinados will be available throughout 'Malvasía Week' at the Nakai restaurant in Playa Honda. Attendees will be able to enjoy a delicious menu paired with wines from the island.

All detailed information about the scheduled activities is available on the official website www.semanamalvasia.com. Tickets for the events can be purchased through the forms available on the social networks 'Vinos de Lanzarote'.

The Regulatory Council of the D.O.P. Vinos de Lanzarote invites all interested parties to join this exciting week of wine and thanks the collaboration of the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Cajamar Foundation for making this annual celebration possible.
