The Miniature Enyesque Congress 2023 will take place in the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of Lanzarote from April 22 to 24. The gastronomic festival returns to the island in its second edition with the aim of highlighting haute cuisine in miniature for adults and children.
For the second consecutive year, the island of Lanzarote hosts the gastronomy event focused on the virtues of enyesque, the Lanzarote version of the peninsular pincho. It is a unique opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experiences around gastronomy to help local destinations grow.
This year MINIATURE will have 3 well-differentiated events in April: the competition between enyesque professionals, cooking for the little ones and the congress for professionals on tourism and gastronomy.
The Lanzarote Miniature Cuisine Congress 2023 will bring together culinary professionals from the island in a competition to present their best miniature cuisine proposals using local products. The previous phase will take place in the participating establishments themselves, where the chefs will compete for a place in the semifinal. The semifinal will be held with 16 establishments on April 23 at the Casa de Los Volcanes, in Jameos del Agua, and the grand final will be held later that same day with the eight finalists.
In addition, there will be a day dedicated to children, Miniature Kids, on April 22 at the Museo del Campesino, where children from 6 to 12 years old will be able to demonstrate their culinary talent in a fun environment. There will be two sessions: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Finally, on April 24 there will be a professional and technical day with conferences and round tables focused on haute cuisine in miniature and gastronomic tourism.
Lanzarote and Euskadi Connection
The Miniature Enyesque Congress Lanzarote 2023 is an initiative for the promotion of the exchange of knowledge and experiences around gastronomy and seeks to help destinations grow. This two-way festival is a valuable ally that helps accelerate a destination positioning strategy, improving the gastronomic offer in a market with high purchasing power: the Basque Country. It also represents an opportunity to demonstrate that Lanzarote's gastronomic offer is at a very high level.
The cooperation between Miniature and Lanzarote is the result of the synergies opened in the first edition of Miniature Congress by Arrecife in Lanzarote, in collaboration with the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Arrecife City Council. The II Miniature Pintxos Congress Lanzarote will also have a commercial and institutional mission to deepen collaboration in the gastronomic and wine tourism fields between the Basque and Canary governments, the Álava Provincial Council and the Cabildo de Lanzarote, as well as tourism promotion agents from both territories.
Residents and tourists will be able to enjoy this first-class gastronomic event, which promotes haute cuisine in miniature and local products, and which will take place in an incomparable setting such as the island of Lanzarote.
The event is supported by the Cabildo de Lanzarote, the Lanzarote Foreign Promotion Society and the Lanzarote Art, Culture and Tourism Centers and the collaboration of Saborea Lanzarote, as well as the organization of MINIATURE Gastronomic Experience.
