has reported that the Canary Islands Employment Service (SCE) will grant aid of 3.5 million euros for the hiring of more than 220 unemployed people in projects of general and social interest during this year.
The subsidy will allow people in unemployment to be hired by associations and non-profit organizations, who will receive a contribution of 10,900 to 112,200 euros per project. This aid will be used to finance the salary costs of people hired full-time or part-time with a minimum duration of 50% of the ordinary working day in the agreement corresponding to each project, according to the note.
This is a collaborative action between the Government of the Canary Islands, universities and non-profit institutions.
