The Official Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa has received the distinctive seal of the Mutua Fraternidad – Muprespa for the protection of the health of its workers during the last 15 years.
This recognition given by the mutual society responds to the absence of accidents that the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa has had during this period, without registered work accidents or occupational diseases. It aims to be a reputational example for other companies to follow the same path of protection for their employees.
The director of the Arrecife delegation, Pedro Figueras, the provincial director of Fraternidad – Muprespa in Las Palmas, Carlos Macho Mishal, and the vice president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Carmen Martinón, attended the award ceremony.
Fraternidad-Muprespa is a private association of entrepreneurs, non-profit, constituted by the authorization of the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, which aims to collaborate in the management of Social Security.
Its activity is directed to the integral treatment of accidents at work and occupational diseases, both in its economic aspect and in the preventive, sanitary and recovery actions through rehabilitation, as well as the coverage of the rest of medical benefits.
