A total of 66 votes in favor of the Promoting Platform of the Chamber of Commerce, 21 from Entrepreneurs for Lanzarote and two blank votes is the result of the first ballot box opened in the Cabildo, which corresponded to group 1, of travel agencies and car rentals.
Thus, the Promoting Platform has prevailed in this sector, where there was only one member at stake. The chosen one, therefore, will be José Torres Fuentes, from Viajes Alegranza, as he has tripled the votes of the representative of Entrepreneurs for Lanzarote, Francisco Gómez, from Jetsol Canarias.
According to one of the candidates, Federico Toledo, the vote count could be extended until at least 6:00 p.m.
