The Canary Island airline Canaryfly has reached four million passengers after ten years of operation in the islands, the company has reported.
This milestone marks a key moment in Canaryfly's growth and consolidation in the regional air market, the airline says in a statement.
The company, which has experienced a notable strengthening, especially after its transformation into a low-cost airline, has become the first and only operator to offer flights between the islands under this modality, according to the company.
Canaryfly's commercial, marketing and communication director, Jon Ramsden, says that turning Canaryfly into the first low-cost company in the Canary Islands has been a great challenge, and adds that "by reaching four million passengers we can assure that our growth strategy has been a success."
Canaryfly's fleet is made up exclusively of ATR 72 turboprop aircraft, designed for short-haul regional routes.
