The Canary Islands airline Binter is making money again after the hard blow dealt by the pandemic to the aviation sector.
The company closed last year with a net profit of 15.44 million euros, which contrasts with the negative balance it had in 2020 and the rather flat result of 2021, although it is still far from the 21 million it reached in 2019.
The Canary Islands airline, which has carried out a great expansion after the pandemic, billed during the last year the record amount of 305 million euros, which is equivalent to an interannual increase of 55%. It also grows 38% compared to 2019.
The airline group has a positive net worth of 61.5 million, 16 million more than in 2021, which gives an idea of its good financial health.
