Lanzarote wines stand out again on the international scene, in this case thanks to the winery from Arrecife Producciones Arráez Brazo, which has won a Gold Medal in the Still Red Wines category of the international Berliner Wein Trophy, with its red wine Lágrima de Listán Negro 2021.
It is a young Lanzarote wine of local production with violet and reddish tones, with a slight aroma of black and red fruits, such as currants, ripe cherries and blackberries. Likewise, this elaboration is also characterized by a great power in the mouth and slight acidity, with a flavor of plum, raisins and green pepper.

The Berliner Wein Trophy, sponsored by the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) and the International Union of Oenologists (UIOE), has become one of the leading international competitions in the wine sector, with more than 20,000 wine registrations per year, including experts from up to 41 countries.
In addition, the jury is meticulously chosen, so every year 700 professionals such as oenologists, winegrowers, masters of wine, wine importers and great specialists in the sector come to this event to assess the quality of the samples.
"We are very proud of the great work that the island's wineries are developing", point out from the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin Vinos de Lanzarote. "This recognition undoubtedly serves to continue publicizing the virtues of Lanzarote wines in different parts of the world".
