The Entrepreneurship Advisory Service assisted, in the last year, 965 people who trusted this reference organization to start their business idea. In 2024, the entrepreneurship area informed and supported another 902 users in the processing of aid and subsidies, for which it prepared up to 232 financial economic plans. And for the application of some type of loan, 30 business plans were prepared. In addition, in the first year of their registration as self-employed, it carried out the accompaniment to 26 new companies.
All these stages make up an Entrepreneur Itinerary that is free of charge thanks to the financing of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy and the Canary Islands Employment Service of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Support in every step
This Entrepreneur Itinerary, of the Advisory Service for Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, aims to accompany the entrepreneur during his first steps through different phases. Thus, the team of specialists that make up this service, serves users from the previous information to the creation of the company until the processing of your registration in the Single Business Window. On the way they find support to develop the Financial Economic Plan, a crucial step to evaluate the economic profitability of the project; information on bonuses, aid and subsidies, and current lines of financing, as well as training actions that are essential to promote the management of the projects that are launched.
In the training phase is the School of Entrepreneurs, which is a complete master's degree, not official, in business management, where attendees acquire the management of the skills and abilities required by an effective and efficient entrepreneur. And it is that "the entrepreneur is a specialist in his own, but there are many facets in the organization of a company that are not known and can be the big difference between a successful business or having to close it due to mismanagement," explains Julieta Fernández, coordinator of the Advisory Service for Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
This ambitious itinerary has one more step, the business accompaniment for those who have already started the activity and need more specific, specialized and individualized answers that help them make decisions aimed at the survival of their businesses.
