The H10 Costa Adeje Palace hotel, which had been in isolation since February 24 by order of the Government of the Canary Islands --a decision endorsed by a judicial order-- has ended its quarantine since 00:00 hours this Tuesday.

The clients who were still in the complex have started to leave throughout the early morning in a device coordinated by the National Police and amid applause from the workers and will return to their countries of origin following the protocol activated by the health authorities and their respective embassies.

The hotel had more than 800 tourists when it was isolated as a result of the first case of coronavirus of an Italian tourist, a 61-year-old doctor, who was admitted to the Hospital de La Candelaria.

Subsequently, another five Italian tourists from the same group also tested positive --two of them already discharged-- as did a British tourist, who was discharged a few days ago.
