The Canary Islands has registered 1,109 new cases of Covid-19 in the last day, in which we also have to lament five new deaths. The deceased, between 50 and 97 years old, were three women and two men. According to the Ministry of Health, two of the deaths occurred in Tenerife, two in Gran Canaria and one in La Palma, and "all presented previous pathologies and were in hospital admission."
The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands is 909.58 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days in 2,518.51 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds this Monday 284 cases, Gran Canaria 664, Lanzarote 87, Fuerteventura 45, La Palma 9, La Gomera 5 and El Hierro 16. "To these cases by islands we must incorporate one without reference", points out the Ministry.
Until this Monday, a total of 3,039,199 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 4,130 correspond to Sunday, with the lowest figure by far since the sixth wave began, and even lower than in previous weeks.
