This Friday, the Canary Islands has a total of 1,871 new cases of coronavirus. In addition, in the last hours the death of three people between 78 and 82 years old has been reported. Two of the cases were reported in Gran Canaria and one in Tenerife, and all had previous pathologies and were in hospital.
Until this Friday, a total of 3,246,860 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 5,644 correspond to Thursday.
The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 437.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 691.38 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 734 cases with a total of 7,767 cases epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 904 more than the previous day and 9,064 active. Lanzarote adds 97 new cases with 514 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 69 new cases and 1,364 active. La Palma adds 52 new positives, so it has 368 active. El Hierro adds six new cases, so its assets are 20, and La Gomera adds 9 new positives, so it has 104 active cases.
The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 286,883 with 19,201 active, of which 43 are admitted to the ICU and 296 remain hospitalized.
