This Friday, the Canary Islands adds 1,762 new cases of coronavirus. In addition, in the last hours the death of three people in Tenerife aged between 69 and 91 years old has been reported. All had previous pathologies and were in hospital.
Until this Friday, a total of 3,320,437 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 6,538 correspond to Thursday.
The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 418.16 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 853.01 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 836 cases with a total of 7,345 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 706 more than the previous day and 5,637 active cases. Lanzarote adds 38 new cases with 551 epidemiologically active cases; Fuerteventura has 45 new cases and 296 active cases. La Palma adds 82 new positives, so it has 672 active cases. La Gomera has 36 new positives and has 207 active cases, and El Hierro adds 20 new cases, so its assets are 82. The sum of cases by islands reflects one more positive than the global count, due to statistical adjustment by the General Directorate of Public Health.
The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 307,429 with 14,790 active, of which 30 are admitted to the ICU and 286 remain hospitalized.
