Canarias has accumulated 14,909 diagnosed cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, increasing by 130 in the last 24 hours. In addition, in the last day there have been three new deaths -two in Gran Canaria and one in Tenerife-, reaching 245 deaths.
This is clear from the data that the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands publishes daily around 2:00 p.m. Of the total cases registered in the archipelago, there are currently 6,760 that remain active in the islands, which is 92 more than a day ago.
Of the active cases of Covid-19 in the Canary Islands, 61 people are in an Intensive Care Unit (-3), 212 remain on the hospital floor (-8) and the remaining 6,487 in home isolation.
As for the patients who have overcome the disease in the islands, they stand at 7,904, which implies 35 more in the last 24 hours.
By islands, Gran Canaria has recorded a total of 7,999 cases since the beginning of the health crisis (42 more than a day ago), of which 3,804 are active, while 4,095 have overcome the disease and 100 have died (+2).
It is followed in number of cases by Tenerife with 4,759 (+77), of which 2,719 are active, while 1,912 have been discharged from hospital and 128 (+1) have died.
In total number of cases, Lanzarote continues with 1,135 cases (+6), which has 85 active positives, 1,041 have overcome the disease and nine have died. After it is Fuerteventura with 703 cases since the beginning of the pandemic (+4), of which 118 are active, 583 overcame the virus and two died.
La Palma, for its part, remains with 185 cases (+1), four of them active positives, 175 medical discharges and six deaths; as well as La Gomera, which maintains 78 cases, of which 26 remain active and 52 have been discharged from hospital.
Finally, El Hierro has registered 49 cases, of which three are active and 46 have overcome the virus. Both islands, La Gomera and El Hierro, have not registered deaths.
