The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands confirms provisionally this Saturday 1,828 new cases of coronavirus Covid. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 298,884 with 15,915 active, of which 35 are admitted to the ICU and 287 remain hospitalized. In the last hours no deaths have been reported linked to the coronavirus.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 430.62 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 887.29 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 819 cases with a total of 136,699 accumulated cases and 6,908 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 113,331 accumulated cases, 762 more than the previous day and 7,244 active. Lanzarote adds 100 new cases with 20,290 accumulated and 678 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 14,787 accumulated cases, with 37 new cases and 399 active. La Palma adds 81 new positives, bringing the total to 10,082 accumulated and 490 active. La Gomera has 22 new positives, bringing its accumulated total to 1,872 and has 126 active cases, and El Hierro adds seven new cases, bringing its total to 1,822 accumulated and its active cases are 270.
To date, a total of 3,286,105 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 5,713 correspond to the previous day.
The Ministry of Health recalls that these data published on the Grafcan portal are provisional and are pending validation by the Public Health teams. In this way, the dynamics of the Coordinating Center for Alerts and Emergencies is followed, which does not receive epidemiological information from the Autonomous Communities on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
