The Canary Islands has added a new positive case of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, specifically in Gran Canaria, and accumulates a total of 2,450, according to data updated at 2:00 p.m. by the Ministry of Health of the Regional Government, which leaves the active cases at 64.

The death toll remains unchanged at 162 for 25 days and a total of 2,224 discharges have been given in the islands.

In addition, of the people who continue with the disease, 62 spend the isolation at home and two are hospitalized, one of them in the ICU, on the island of Gran Canaria.

By islands, Tenerife continues to be the island with the most cases with 1,506, of which 8 remain active, while 1,388 people have been discharged and 110 have died. After Tenerife is Gran Canaria with 611 positives, 10 of them active, and 561 overcame the virus and 39 died.

However, Fuerteventura is currently the island with the most active cases, since of the 87 it has registered, 40 remain active and 47 people have been discharged.

Lanzarote has 88 positives, six deaths and 82 discharges; La Palma, 107 cases, seven deaths and 100 medical discharges; La Gomera has eight positives and El Hierro has three, and without any active cases currently.
