Canary Islands adds 3 deaths and 218 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 933,110 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 21,111 correspond to the last seven days.

The Canary Islands has registered 218 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total number of accumulated cases in the islands now rises to 44,843 with 4,412 active, of which 72 are admitted to the ICU and 288 remain hospitalized. Likewise, there has been the death of three people, so the total number of deaths now amounts to 647.

The Cumulative Incidence (IA) at 7 days is located in the Canary Islands in the 66.22 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA at 14 days is in the 131.02 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Until this moment a total of 933,110 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 21,111 correspond to the last seven days.

By islands, Tenerife adds 87 new infections with a total of 18,899 accumulated cases and 2,315 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 18,463 accumulated cases, 96 more than the previous day, and 1,711 active; Lanzarote adds 7 new cases with 4,566 accumulated and 81 epidemiologically active, and Fuerteventura has 1,946 accumulated cases with 27 more cases than the previous day and 283 active.

La Palma adds a new case and has 447 accumulated and 13 active cases; El Hierro does not add new cases, maintains its accumulated in 300 and in 4 its assets. The same occurs in La Gomera, which does not add new infections either, placing its accumulated in 222 and its assets in five.
