"After months with the presence on the beach of all types
of machinery (shovels, excavators, barges at sea, etc.) with the
intention of redirecting rainwater out to sea; now with the
works completed and delivered, according to Emerlan lifeguards, the beach
of Los Pocillos, in Puerto del Carmen (Tías), gives us these days a
unpleasant surprise to those of us who, like me, are users of it.
Emerging from the sand are a few meters from the shore the
support means of the placed pipes. They are concrete pieces that
surface, in some cases, with the bolts (cylindrical metal piece) of support pointing to the sky, free to cause damage to any bathers who do not realize their presence run into them.
From the opportunity that this medium offers me, I make this fact public with
in order to alert not only the competent authorities (which I know that
already know), but to the users who these days of immense heat
approach this beach to cool off a bit."
