Unión Sur Yaiza ended Real Sporting San José's undefeated status, winning on Saturday afternoon at the Gran Canaria team's home. The southern team gained a two-goal advantage in the first half, with the Gran Canaria team reducing the difference in the second half. The team coached by Carlos Ramírez finished the match with nine players, with Nauzet and Aridane being sent off, which forced them to work hard to maintain the narrow lead they had. Unión Sur Yaiza has a full record of victories as a visitor this season.

Real Sporting San José had problems from the start of the match to overcome Unión Sur Yaiza's defensive structure. The Lanzarote team scored the first goal in the 13th minute. A foul in the middle of the field was crossed by Rubén Rodríguez into the area, defender Toba let the ball pass and goalkeeper Jowi missed it when he tried to block it. Kamara was attentive in the offensive action, putting his head in to send the ball into the back of the net and make it 0-1 for his team.

Sporting San José's biggest danger came in set-piece actions. David tried with a shot that goalkeeper Doramas initially saved and Aridane cleared. Roberto and Toba also tried with shots from corners taken by Espino from the left side. Unión Sur Yaiza suffered, working hard to avoid the equalizing goal.

In the final stretch of the first half, Unión Sur Yaiza increased the difference on the scoreboard. A good shot by Juanca from the edge of the area went over goalkeeper Jowi. With the score at 0-2, the first half came to an end, with the Lanzarote team taking advantage of the opportunities they had.

In the second half of the match, the expulsions and controversial plays arrived. In the 71st minute of the match, a shot by Aníbal hit Nauzet's hand, with the referee awarding a penalty and sending off the Yaiza player with a straight red card. Aníbal himself was in charge of converting the penalty and putting his team back in the game.

Just four minutes later, the forces on the field were balanced, with local player Oscar being sent off for hitting Nichel. And in the 82nd minute of the match, Unión Sur Yaiza was left with nine players on the field, with Aridane being sent off with a double yellow card.

Goalkeeper Doramas showed his security between the posts and was the main protagonist in the final stretch of the match. He stopped a close-range shot from Aníbal in the 84th minute and also blocked a low shot from Rubén in added time. Unión Sur Yaiza worked hard in defense to avoid Sporting San José's equalizing goal.

New victory for Unión Sur Yaiza as a visitor this season, consolidating the team coached by Carlos Ramírez as one of the best teams away from home. The victory places Yaiza in the upper area of the standings, achieving seven points in the four matches that have been played to date in the Canarian group of the Third Division.
