The Poliarrecife Karate Club returns from the Canary Islands Championship with three medals

Amelie Yaiza won a gold, while Gael Guadalupe took silver and Caleb Padrón won a bronze

The Poliarrecife Karate Club won three medals at the Canary Islands Championship held last Sunday, March 20 in Icod de Los Vinos.

The club had participation in all categories from Benjamin to youth, and it was in this last one precisely where a gold was achieved, achieved by Amelie Yaiza in Kumite Juvenile Female -47 kilos.

Gael Guadalupe was proclaimed runner-up of the Canary Islands in Kumite Juvenile Male -48 kilos, while Caleb Padrón won third place in Kumite Infantil Male - 35 kilos.

Alejandro García, was fifth classified in Kumite Juvenile Male - 48 kg, while Amelie Yaiza also participated in Kata Juvenile female, where she finished in fifth place.

Finally, Antonio González managed to finish in seventh position in Kumite Juvenile male –36 kilos.

From Poliarrecife they value the great work of all the club's competitors, who have already returned to training from the following day to prepare for their next events.
