The Marlines de Lanzarote Canoeing Club triumphs in the 'I Spanish Sea Kayak Cup'. They have become champions and runners-up in the young promises cup and the absolute sea cup. In addition, they have finished third in the 'I Spanish Master Sea Kayak Cup', with 24 medals and thus securing a place for the European Championship.
After an impressive performance in the 'I Spanish Sea Kayak Cup' in Palma de Mallorca, the canoeing club is established as a dominant force on the Spanish sea kayak scene. Made up of 52 members, the team showcased their skill and commitment by competing against more than 35 national clubs and facing more than 500 paddlers in a weekend full of challenges.
Despite the changes in plans caused by the adverse weather conditions that affected the two days of regattas, the Lanzarote paddlers did not back down and showed a magnificent performance, obtaining a total of 24 medals, made up of 10 gold medals, 13 silver and 1 bronze.
