Luis E. Ferrer Hernández and Pedro Padrón Cadres from Lanzarote have joined the 110 teams that will participate in the Panda Raid Baja 800.

The Panda Raid is a long-distance and endurance solidarity race, which is held annually in Morocco, but this year, due to the restrictions of the African country, it has not been possible.

Luis E. Ferrer Hernández and Pedro Padrón Cadres are attracted by the spirit of adventure, the sporting values, and above all the human values that this race proposes. All this is united to face the challenge of reaching Zaragoza with the Fiat Panda 4x4, and thus be able to fulfill the dream of representing the archipelago in a “different and supportive” way.

The people from Lanzarote have pointed out that they are "very excited" to make a journey through Spain, after the drought of 2020 and not being able to return to Morocco.

Already in national territory and heading to Zaragoza, where the verifications of the Panda Raid Baja 800 take place this Thursday, the test is a concentrated adventure in 4 stages of the Baja type, but with the classic ingredients of the Panda Raid, with a route of about 800 kilometers through Zaragoza, Teruel and Soria, with a marathon stage of about 350 kilometers.

The Lanzarote team has the objective of starting and finishing the test as well as possible, with the conveniences that in Spain most of the stages are tracks. and it is much more difficult to overtake.
