Teguise hosts a monographic meeting of the Presa Canario

This is the second one held by the Lanzarote Presa Canario Club so far this year.

The Lanzarote Presa Canario Club held a monographic meeting of this breed this Saturday at the Teguise Agroindustrial Complex, this being the second one organized so far this year.

The club would like to publicly thank the Teguise City Council for the support they consider "essential", and the attending public. "They demonstrate that there is an interest in our breed, with an important base for its development and monitoring", the club points out.

The meeting was attended by 40 Presa Canarios, with measurements and weighing of the specimens from the Young category, through the Intermediate to the Open class, both in males and females, in order to continue evaluating the evolution of the Presa Canario in Lanzarote.

In the "Very puppy male" category, Capitán came in first place, followed by Legend and Coronel, all three with the qualification of "Very good". In the same category, but in females, it was the dog Marea that won, with Chela being the second classified and Tindaya the third, all of them with the qualification of "Very good".

On the other hand, in the "puppy" categories, the dog Bárbara was the winner, obtaining the qualification of "Very good", the same award obtained by the dog Altahay, in the male section.

In the "Young Female" category it was for the dog Tindaya, with the qualification of "Very good", while in the "Open Female" category the dog Leyla came in first place, followed by Yara and Noa, all of them with the qualification of "Excellent".

On the other hand, in the "Intermediate Female" category, Ágora was the winner, with Orisa in second place and Afra in third, all of them with the category "Excellent". In the "Young Male" category, the dog Tirex won the first prize, followed by Charco, both with the qualification of "Very good".

Finally, in the "Open Male" category, the dog Danko won first place, winning the award for "Best of the exhibition". In second place was Crome and in third place was Brooklyn, all with the qualification of "Excellent".
