The Spanish 420 Championship organized by the RCN of Gran Canaria has ended. The day left two crews from the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife on the podiums in the U19 men's and U17 women's categories. Miguel Ángel Morales Hernández and Alejandro Martín Corujo were proclaimed runners-up in Spain in the U19 men's category, just 4 points away from climbing to the third step in the overall classification. In the girls' category, Gabriela Cañibano Salvago and Ariane Muñoz Herrero confirmed their good participation by taking third place in the U17 women's category after having remained in second and third place during the four days held.
The RCNA highlights this Monday in a press release that it was an excellent day for Morales and Martín, closing their participation with two second places and a sixth place, which earned them the runner-up position in their first participation in the Spanish Championship after making the leap to the U19 category. In the same category, Fernando Benítez de la Cruz and Andrés Betancort Martín were classified tenth.
Gabriela Cañibano Salvago and Ariane Muñoz Herrero won the bronze in U17 women's, after remaining from the first day of regattas fighting for second place. Elena Armas Morales and Elena Izquierdo Díaz were placed in fourth place after their teammates from the RCN de Arrecife.

In the absolute men's category, seventh position for Andrea Stinga González and Gabriel Gallego Rodríguez, finishing from less to more. The seventh place in U17 men's was for Miguel Álvarez Rodríguez and Jorge Betancort Martín.
The Balearic team was proclaimed champion of Spain by autonomous communities with 13 points, the Canary Islands was second with 17 and Catalonia third with 30 points. After them were classified: Galicia with 53, Andalusia added 70, the Valencian Community with 84 and Cantabria closed with 123 points.
