The player from the youth ranks of Tinajo, Martha Padrón Olsson, from CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen, has once again been called up by the Spanish Women's Promises National Team to participate in the 4 Nations International Tournament, which will be held in Tarazona (Zaragoza) from November 17 to 22, 2025.
Padrón will be the only Canary Islands representative at this international event, where the national team will be led by Miguel Echevarría, with Sergio Cordero as assistant and José Luis Santacristina as Team Manager.
During the training camp, the Spanish Promises Team will play three matches:
November 20 against Slovenia (7:15 PM).
November 21 against Romania (7:15 PM).
November 22 against Switzerland (7:00 PM, island time).
This new call-up consolidates Martha Padrón's projection at the national level, continuing her promising career with the Spanish team.
The president of CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen, Félix Montelongo, congratulated the young athlete on her new achievement:
"We want to congratulate our youth player Martha Padrón for her continued presence in the Spanish Women's Promises National Team. We hope she enjoys the 4 Nations Tournament in Tarazona and continues to proudly represent CB Puerto del Carmen and Canarian handball. Martha is an example for our entire youth system and a source of pride for the club. May she continue learning and, above all, enjoying handball," said Montelongo.
