The team led by Juan Antonio Machín had been doing things well until this match, as they had achieved 4 points out of 6 possible from their last two matches in away fields, but they have fallen defeated by the Galician team, which with this victory now has 4 consecutive winning matches.

The match from its beginnings was interesting and very disputed by both teams, since from the first five initial minutes things were balanced, it was seen a hard-fought and even match. In the 6th minute, the first dangerous incursion is created, when in a foul on Deschamps, a Racing player, by Pi, they begin to reach the goal defended by Tato, then another attack and immediately the well-organized counterattack by Marítima, minute 7 and Rubén Rodríguez provokes a corner kick.

Thus, in the first quarter of the first half, Orientación Marítima stood up and played to win, almost shaking off the attacks of an organized and dangerous Ferrol, who led the match well by the hand of their players Gustavo and La Matina, who were very dangerous for the local team.

Around the 30th minute, Racing establishes a slight dominance, but again the red-black team regains control and presses in search of the goal, and in the clearest opportunity of the first half, Sixto sees how his shot crashes against the right post when Queco, the green goalkeeper, was already beaten. Both teams played face to face, which caused continuous shots and corner kicks and exciting dangerous plays that the goalkeepers resolved.

In the 36th minute, Tato makes a great save against a powerful shot by Koen, then another powerful shot by Médina that the local goalkeeper saves; but fortune was not with Machín's team, as in the agony of the first half comes the bucket of cold water because in the 44th minute, a great goal by Koen, in a counterattack by La Matina on the right side, crosses to the area and Koen shoots straight in a shot that hits the crossbar and slides through the net. The player Pi, would see a yellow card for protesting the play of the goal, since it gave the impression of a possible offside.

In the second half, things changed because a different Marítima was seen, as if they entered defeated and a Racing that confirmed its superiority, experience and good skills and that had led them to this match to present themselves with 3 consecutive victories. They dominated in the first very solid minutes and in the 58th minute, before a defensive error of the conejero team; Deschamps shoots at an empty goal and converts the forceful 0-2.

The visiting team takes advantage of the critical moment of those of La Destila and assumes control of the match with clear dominance and good possession of the ball, however, already in the 70th minute Marítima wakes up very late and desperately tries the discount and why not the tie, although it was not enough for it. In the 67th minute, the red and blacks claim a penalty for a possible foul when a player falls inside the area.

The discount arrives in the 77th minute when in a corner kick, the Racing defense takes out a ball that remains in the area and Rosmen with a powerful low shot scores the 1-2. Already in the 88th minute, Orientación Marítima has Racing totally dominated, but time is not enough for the tie. The referee whistles the end in the 95th minute and the definitive 1-2 that marks a defeat at home for Marítima.

Pi and Maciot saw the yellow card for the locals; and for the visit the player Médina.
