Despite the absences that Jack Talbot had to face Atlético Unión Güimar in the First National Women's match, FC Puerto del Carmen showed their face at all times in search of a victory that could make them return to the path of three points after the league break.

However, and despite how disputed the match was, it was the Tenerife team that took the lead on the scoreboard when, after 30 minutes, Elsa managed to beat Amelia's goal, who was debuting this season after Nazaret's sanction. The goal did not diminish the Tiñosera's desire to get the points and the red team continued fighting to achieve the equalizer, although it did not arrive, despite the opportunities they had.

With the partial victory of 1 to 0, the players went to rest. During the break, Jack Talbot sent several players to warm up, with Eva and Gabriela entering at the beginning of the second half, replacing Cinthia and Daniela in order to give the team another boost and become more offensive, breaking the tactical strategy of the local team.

During the second half, the match was also head-to-head, with arrivals that could both extend the differences and put the equalizer on the scoreboard, however the ball resisted entering either of the two goals until the 85th minute arrived.

With 5 minutes left for the end, Lucía Toledo managed to score the second goal for the Tenerife team and make it very difficult for the Lanzarote team to score. Despite that goal, the players trained by Jack Talbot managed to cut the deficit shortly after through Eva Sánchez and put fear into the local players, who were looking for a way to be more conservative so as not to stop adding the three points.

The tie did not arrive and the Lanzarote team returned to the island without points, but with the feeling of having deserved something more. Next week the fifth league matchday will take place, with Puerto del Carmen receiving Llamoro from Tenerife in Lanzarote. The match is scheduled to be played on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the Municipal de Tías.
