The Asailor Trophy of the Snipe class 2022 came to an end after the dispute of six regattas in which the couple formed by Alejandro Bethencourt and Álvaro Bernal, sailors of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife were the most regular of the six participating teams, managing to win in three of the regattas and achieving two second places, obtaining a total of 7 points.

Two points behind them were their closest pursuers, Leonardo and Elena Armas, who signed three partial victories and two third places, discarding a fifth. Third in the final ranking were Miguel Ángel Naverán and Luis Hernández, also from the capital's club, who achieved four second places and a third, discarding a null start with a U flag, which led them to achieve 11 points.

The rest of the classification was for the couple formed by the capital's sailors, Carlos Miguel De la Hoz González and Yapci Reyes Ramos, with 17 points; the southerners Alonso Pérez Fernández and Alejandro Vidal Ortiz from Guinea, with 24; and Pedro Miguel Ferrer Espino with Jesús González Amaliach Echeandia, with 26.

Once the tests were carried out, the awards ceremony took place at the club's headquarters, headed by Julio Romero, president of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, and Andrea Stinga, representing the ASailor brand. Also present were Manuel Torres, technical director of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife; and the directors Estanislao Bethencourt and Juan Roa.

The wingfoil test, which was also scheduled to take place, had to be postponed, as the wind was not sufficient for it to take place, and it remains pending to be done in the coming weeks.
