Yaiza reorganizes the festive activities suspended due to bad weather

Other events, however, remain on the dates agreed from the beginning

The wind and haze alert of the last few days has forced the Yaiza City Council to look for new celebration dates for the events suspended due to bad weather, thus, the traditional Christmas market will be held next Saturday, December 21 in the Plaza de Remedios, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the performance at 11:00 a.m. of the Guaguime Folk Group, while the Calicanto Group will perform on Sunday the 22nd, at 6:00 p.m., at the Benito Pérez Armas House of Culture.

As for the rest of the events published in the Yaiza Agenda, the presentation of the novel The Five Deaths of Jacinto Samitier remains this Wednesday the 18th, with the presence of the author Miguel Aguerralde, at 7:00 p.m., at the Yaiza House of Culture, and the theatrical interpretation Arcadia by the students of the municipal theater workshop directed by Siscu Ruz, in a function scheduled for Thursday, December 19, at 7:00 p.m., at the Molino de Yaiza with live music by Israel Curbelo. Admission is free.

On Friday the 20th, the Bohemia Group performs in the Uga tent at 8:30 p.m., in an evening that promises Canarian music, Christmas carols and Latin rhythms.

 

On Limones Street

Yaiza adds to these events two more proposals that it organizes together with Felapyme to boost the commercial area of Limones Street in Playa Blanca. This is the performance of the Guachindixie Band, on Saturday, December 21 at 4:00 p.m., and the street theater show by the company Actúa7, on Friday, December 27 at 12:00 p.m.
