The City Council of Tías has hired this Wednesday, March 1, a total of 14 people to execute a job-generating project called "Environmental improvement in the municipality of Tías."
This hiring has been possible thanks to the nominated subsidy of 172,015 euros granted by the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
The workers, who have been distributed in different areas of the City Council, have since this Wednesday with a 6-month contract of different characteristics taking into account the profile of each one.
The categories hired correspond to cleaning staff, laborers, plumber, electrician, file assistant, computer technician, cultural manager, concierge and welder.
The mayor, José Juan Cruz, and the councilors of Human Resources, Employment and Sports, Tomás Silvera, Kalinda Pérez and Sergio García, welcomed the new workers and entrusted them with the assigned tasks.
