The Cabildo and the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote have organized the first Conference on Intervention in traffic accidents, which will take place on June 8 and 9, on the occasion of the XVI National Meeting of Rescue in Traffic Accidents ENRAT2022.
In this first edition on the island, all aspects related to traffic accidents will be covered: from intervention in them to legal issues affecting those involved, treatment of psychological sequelae and all relevant points to take into account in traffic accidents.
"This is a great opportunity, as they have been programmed with highly competent speakers, being aimed at professionals in the world of security and emergency," says the president of the Emergency Consortium, Marcos Bergaz.
The program will be free and will require prior registration due to limited capacity. It will include conferences on Road Safety, coordination protocols and action of the intervention teams, taught by professionals specialized in each of the topics.
Each of the presentations will be led by specialists in the sector where they will highlight the most important in each of them. For its part, the inaugural presentation will deal with legal coverage for those involved in traffic accidents, by Luis Carlos Rodríguez León, Delegate Prosecutor for Road Safety in Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla.
The following day the established program will continue, with talks on interventions with hybrid and/or electric vehicles, psychological care for those involved and injured or air transport, among others.
Registration to participate in these Technical Intervention Conferences will be open until June 5 through the web.
It should be noted that the conference, organized by the Cabildo and the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote, has had the help of the Professional Association of Fire Technicians (APTB), the Professional Association of Rescue in Traffic Accidents (APRAT) and the Mapfre Foundation.
