The Socialist Party of Tinajo has denied having expressed an official position regarding the car show of the mayor, Jesús Machín, in the courtyard of the Virgen de Los Volcanes school and has disclaimed the complaint made by a father who, in turn, belongs to this formation.
"It was some parents of students who went indignantly to the school, when they learned that Machín had been doing spins and skidding with the car in the courtyard and in a narrow street near the school", explained the general secretary of the socialists of Tinajo, Juan Jesús Hernández.
Hernández has assured, however, that we must understand "the indignation" of the parents and has indicated that he shares that the driving exhibition "of risk is not the best lesson for the little ones".
The socialist recalled that the project presented by the educational center to the City Council consisted of bringing students closer to the knowledge of the different vehicles that make up the municipal vehicle fleet, such as an environmental surveillance land-rover, a police van or a crane. "Nothing to do with the rally car with which the mayor competes," he said.
The Socialist Party of Tinajo will demand through a motion before the Plenary of the City Council the corresponding clarifications to this event.
