The Socialist Municipal Group in the Tinajo City Council has accused the government group of "lack of responsibility" with the residents "for not presenting the municipal budget with three months to go before the end of the year."

The socialist spokesperson, Begoña Hernández, states that they do not understand "how it is possible that CC, having an absolute majority and with the great needs of the municipality in a global pandemic, has not been able to carry out the budgets throughout this year." "The government's inactivity is detrimental to the residents of Tinajo," she adds.

For Hernández, "the vice acquired in recent years, by CC of not approving the accounts of the Tinajo City Council, in a timely manner, is an authentic irresponsibility and incompetence."

The PSOE considers that "the residents of Tinajo have the right to know where the money from their taxes is going to be allocated, especially in an anomalous year like the one we are experiencing" and demands that Jesús Machín take the draft budget for 2020 to the plenary session "out of responsibility."
