The Lanzarote Tax Network, an organization led by the Councilor for Finance and Contracting, María Jesús Tovar, moved this Monday, September 4 to La Graciosa, a day in which the people of Graciosa could go to pay their taxes within the voluntary period.

Oswaldo Betancort congratulates "the work of the workers of the Lanzarote Tax Network", who "facilitate and bring the different tax procedures closer to the citizens of La Graciosa.”

“It is essential that all residents, both from Lanzarote and La Graciosa, know the voluntary period and have the same possibilities of paying their taxes”, says the Minister of Finance, who positively valued "the visit to the eighth island."

The councilor recalls that the "voluntary period for the payment of municipal taxes and fees, such as the Real Estate Tax (IBI), the garbage collection fee or the circulation tax, is until September 20", the same date that the corresponding payment letters are valid.

“Citizens may request an appointment through the Tax Network website, and may pay the amounts at any of the Tax Network offices on the island”, adds Tovar.

On the other hand, Tovar also reminds citizens that "they have the possibility of direct debiting receipts, thus having a 5% discount on the total amount".
