The Cabildo of Lanzarote received this Thursday the visit of the firefighters of the Island who won the runner-up in Spain in traffic accident rescue at the National Meeting of Rescue in Traffic Accidents Enrat 2023.
The president of the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote, Marcos Bergaz, was in charge of personally congratulating the representative team of the Island, who stood out among the 22 teams of firefighters from all over the country participating.
Bergaz valued the "professionalism, preparation and courage that the firefighters of the Lanzarote Corps always display" and the great role played in this meeting, "where they have demonstrated that the safety of citizens is in the best hands."
The firefighters Néstor Crespo Rodríguez, Acaymo Rodríguez Quintero, Rubén Gerra Morales, Roberto Betancort Corujo, Jone Chedey Martín Fernández and Chedey Rodríguez Quintero are the members of the group who attended the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Seville (Fibes).
