The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, held a meeting with the president of the Association of Onco-Hematological Families of the island (AFOL), Carmen Arrocha, with the aim of "bringing positions closer and proposing possible ways of action from the institution".
The meeting focused mainly on the issues that the Cabildo of Lanzarote has been resolving so that cancer patients and their families "have a better quality of life". Along the same lines, it was stated that the radiotherapy bunker service is close to starting since the facilities are properly equipped.
In this regard, the island president thanked the president of AFOL for her visit and expressed her willingness to collaborate between the institutions in favor of families and cancer patients in Lanzarote.
“From the Cabildo of Lanzarote we want to express our total gratitude to the Association of Onco-Hematological Families for their involvement and because thanks to their efforts over the years, they have contributed to making these demands a reality”, detailed Dolores Corujo.
Another point of the meeting focused on working together to promote the planned health planning.
