The Councilor of Works of the Teguise City Council, Eugenio Robayna, responds to a resident of Tao who requests that the debris from a ruined house in the town be removed from the public road. Specifically, on Tinabuado street, where the Parish is located, a place where the abandoned and ruined house is occupying part of the road due to the neglect of the authorities, according to this resident.

Robayna assures that it is a private house with many heirs and their children, with whom they have been "trying to contact" for some time, the councilor told La Voz. "We have tried it actively and passively," he stressed. "The Council has formalized a notification letter to the heirs," which makes it clear that "action will be taken imminently to demolish the facade due to danger," at the moment they do not respond to the demand. "They do not agree and on top of that, everyone has to sign," he says.

In addition, many of them are outside the island and have not been able to locate them all. At the moment the council carries out these demolition works, the heirs of the abandoned house "will have to take care of the costs that it costs the residents of Teguise," Robayna said.

From the City Council they have added that "it will be solved", but that it takes time to "get their response". Thus, he has revealed that he is in the "final phase of the procedure", although he acknowledges that they are trying to obtain permission from the relatives. "I cannot enter a private property, in that case, they can sue me," the councilor stressed.
