A resident of the town of Tao has denounced that the towns of the municipality are "left in oblivion" and that the town has been "more than a year" with debris occupying the public road. Specifically, on Tinabuado Street, where the Parish is located, there is an abandoned house that is in ruins and is occupying part of the road due to the abandonment of the authorities, according to this local woman.
This citizen asks: "What has the Canarian Coalition done with the Government of Teguise?". In addition, she has stated that she has "asked and reiterated many times" to the Councilor for Roads and Works, Security and Emergency, Eugenio Robayna, to remove the debris that occupies part of this road, in both directions.
She has also indicated that "the presence of houses in ruins within a municipality necessarily raises various issues related to safety and urban aesthetics."
Thus, she has highlighted that "municipalities play a crucial role in the management of these structures, and their responsibility ranges from the identification of what is considered a house in ruins to the adoption of measures to guarantee public safety".
