The Department of Social Welfare of the Arrecife City Council, headed by Maite Corujo, has announced the results of the satisfaction survey conducted by the company Asidma among users of the Home Care Service (SAD), whose data reflect a very positive overall assessment of the municipal service.

The study, conducted through official channels and with broad participation, reveals that more than 99% of the people surveyed rate the service as “Very good” or “Good”, particularly highlighting the professionalism, kindness, and involvement of the staff providing care in homes.

Among the most valued aspects are **the trust conveyed by the service workers, the close and respectful treatment, the willingness to help, the personalized attention, and the understanding** of the specific needs of each user. Likewise, the general satisfaction level reaches outstanding levels, with a very broad majority rating the service as "Very good".The Councilor for Social Welfare, Maite Corujo, has pointed out that these results "represent direct recognition of the daily work of a human team that performs its duties in complex conditions, with an enormous vocational drive and a strong social commitment".Corujo has emphasized that "we know that home care services are not without difficulties, such as schedule adjustments derived from the labor reality or the need to clarify that it is not a cleaning service, but rather personal care and support in daily life. Therefore, receiving such positive feedback from users has special value."The councilwoman added that "this survey encourages us to continue improving, to strengthen communication with families, and to continue explaining what the home care service is and is not, in order to adjust expectations and offer care that is increasingly adequate to the real needs of the population."From the Department of Social Welfare, it is insisted that these data "should not be interpreted as a destination, but as a working tool".In this regard, the councilor wanted to contextualize the results and explain that the survey "was carried out through official channels and following a standardized procedure, which guarantees the reliability of the responses, but does not eliminate the existence of isolated incidents or complaints.""We are aware that schedule changes occur, sometimes with little notice, and that there is occasional confusion about the actual scope of the service. Precisely because of this, these types of evaluations help us identify strengths and continue to correct what is not working as it should," Corujo stated."Good results do not make us let our guard down; on the contrary, they force us to be more demanding of ourselves," stated Corujo, who emphasized that the City Council will continue to supervise the service and listen to both the users and the professionals who make it possible.

The Home Care Service is a key piece of municipal social policies, as it allows the elderly and dependent to remain in their usual environment with dignified, close, and professional care, promoting their autonomy and quality of life.
