The Deputy Mayor of Arrecife, Echedey Eugenio, conveyed his congratulations to the members of the La Destila Cultural Center for the Second and Third Age for the original design of the card with which the President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, congratulates this year's Christmas under the slogan 'For a Canary Islands of Equal Islands'.
The postcard, entitled 'May the light that guides us always be the Canary Islands', reproduces a night scene of the journey of the three Wise Men towards the Bethlehem portal guided, not by a star as tradition dictates, but by a constellation of 8 stars formed by the 8 islands of the Canary Archipelago.
In his visit this Wednesday to the headquarters of the aforementioned group, located on La Porra street in the Arrecife neighborhood of La Destila, Echedey Eugenio was accompanied by the Councilor for the Elderly of the Arrecife City Council, Rosmen Quevedo, as well as by the also member of the Arrecife government group, Maciot Cabrera.
