Costa Teguise will once again have a Local Police office. This was announced by the City Council with the opening of a new Citizen Service and Complaint Collection office of the Local Police. The facilities will be located next to the seaside town of Costa Teguise, in the tourist information office.

Mayor Olivia Duque has stated that the new headquarters is due to the Council's commitment to "improving security" throughout the municipality and bringing the Police Force closer to residents and tourists, allowing them to carry out the necessary procedures without having to travel to the Villa de Teguise.

The Councilor for Local Police, Ginés González, has expressed his "satisfaction" with the inauguration of the new facilities, as it represents a key step to increase security and strengthen ties with the population. "We are committed to a more accessible and efficient police presence, improving the response to the needs of our inhabitants," the councilor insisted.

The initiative aims to bring municipal services closer and strengthen the relationship between the Local Police and the public, as well as provide an efficient channel for reporting incidents. To this end, the office will have a strategic location in the Costa Teguise Tourist Office, and multilingual service.
