Coalition Canaria has demanded that the fee that the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers had been giving to the Cabildo of Lanzarote be recovered, and that they denounce that it was eliminated in this mandate. "The CACT have not given a single euro cent to the Cabildo since María Dolores Corujo arrived at the Presidency," say the nationalists.

“While the Cabildo of Lanzarote and therefore the Lanzarote society does not receive these resources, the CACT throw the house out the window with bread and circus policies, to which hundreds of thousands of euros have been allocated,” says the representative of CC-PNC in the Board of Directors of the Centers, Samuel Martín, who affirms that “it is the Cabildo who, with these resources, and with transparency, must undertake actions that result in the well-being of citizens, including any show outside the scenic spaces of the CACT”.

For his part, the deputy spokesperson for CC, Pedro San Ginés, questions that "whenever the PSOE is responsible for the CACT, the same thing happens".

“History repeats itself. Already in the stage of Carlos Espino (2007-2009) not a single euro cent reached the Cabildo either,” says San Ginés, who considers "a mockery of the people of Conejero the response of the CEO, Benjamín Perdomo, assuring that 'they are up to date with the canon', knowing that he has eliminated it even from the entity's budgets with Corujo's permission."

“If you put zero canon in the budgets, how are you not going to be up to date?”, asserts San Ginés.
