Octopus in red mojo, caldo millo, octopus ropa vieja, black pig ribs, wrinkled potatoes with green and red mojos, carajacas, goat meat stew, rabbit, chickpeas, sardine tartare or tuna with onions, among the dishes, and sweet potato trout, sweet and pumpkin or frangollo, among the desserts.

These will be the delicacies of Canarian cuisine that will be served in the seven traditional stalls that will be installed in Arrecife during the celebration of the upcoming Christmas holidays, whose winners were decided in a gastronomic contest organized by the Department of Festivities led by the first deputy mayor, Echedey Eugenio.

“After the success of this contest held for the first time to decide the winners of the traditional stalls that were installed during the past San Ginés Festivities, we have decided to repeat this selection format to give prominence to one of the main distinctive features of our cultural heritage and Canarian identity, such as its exquisite gastronomy,” said Echedey Eugenio.
